Are you ready to join the locals and celebrate New Year in Prague away from the usual tourist spots in the old town square?
Our tour is all about exploring the authentic and lesser-known side of Prague.
It is filled with great neighborhood bars, each with its own unique charm. Whether you’re a fan of craft beers, wines, or local farm ciders, our tour New Year in Prague is tailored just for you.
We’ll take you on a journey through hidden gems in the artistic district of Letna.
Our first stop is a beer gallery with an incredible selection of over 400 local beers. This hidden gem is a favorite among the locals, and you’ll be amazed to know that the owner is not only a beer enthusiast but also the Czech Republic’s 3-meter Springboard diving champion and a daring mountain climber who conquered K2 last year.
Next up, we’ll visit a darts tournament bar. This place has hosted championships where representatives from each European Union country compete. You’ll even get a chance to try your hand at darts with your group. It’s a spot brimming with nostalgic charm and history.
For our third stop, we’ll head to a cozy neighborhood bar, where you can enjoy a delightful sit-down meal. The menu offers a wide variety of tasty options, including choices for vegans and vegetarians.
Our fourth destination is a warm and welcoming bar adorned with metal structures and gas lighting. They serve Czech microbrewery beers, craft organic cider, and wine. Interestingly, it was owned by a close friend of mine from Vancouver who played a part in opening one of Prague’s first bars for foreigners after the 1989 revolution.
As the clock ticks towards the New Year, we’ll make our way to Letna Park.
It is an excellent vantage point that offers a breathtaking view of the city. We’ll raise a glass of Moravian sparkling wine and witness a magnificent display of fireworks across the entire city.
Last but certainly not least, we’ll visit a steampunk EDM nightclub that defies imagination.
This three-floor wonder is constructed from over 10,000 parts of scrap metal and features four stages. It hosts 27 different DJs playing a mix of genres, including drum and bass, techno, house, break beats, funk, and psytrance. You can expect the very best world-renowned DJs, and there’s no commercial music in sight.
This legendary nightclub, a symbol of post-communist freedom, will keep the party going until 8 a.m.
